Question 1

I don't have time for one more program, is this really only a few minutes a day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stop Putting Yourself Off is five days of audio, a few minutes each, built for your car or the one load of laundry you fold alone. No workbook to shelve, no hour-long sessions.

Question 2

I've tried coaching and self-help before and reverted right back. Why would this be different?

Accepted Answer

Because each day is built on named, peer-reviewed research, not motivation alone, and gives you one small action to actually do, not more information to read.

Question 3

Is this therapy? Should I be seeing someone instead?

Accepted Answer

No. This is identity-driven, results-focused coaching, distinct from therapy. It moves you forward instead of exploring your past.

Question 4

Is this actually backed by anything real?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each day is grounded in named research, including affect labeling from UCLA, implementation intentions from NYU, urge surfing from the University of Washington, and distanced self-talk from the University of Michigan.

Question 5

What if I start and don't follow through, again?

Accepted Answer

There's zero guilt built in. If you miss a day, you just come back to today, no makeup work required. By day five you have a keepsake proving the days you did show up.
